Tokyo Summerland is located in Akiruno, a city in the greater Tokyo area. Its home to a wide lineup of water park favorites, including one of Japan’s largest lazy rivers and an indoor pool under the dome so you can swim no matter what the weather. There’s even a roller coaster to try, making for a perfect place to go for a full day of all-out fun.
This massive pool sits inside the Adventure Dome. The waters are shallow so even novice-swimmers can enjoy playing in the water. There are plenty of ways to make a splash, from swimming together or floating along on an inflatable raft! The pool even has realistic waves to make you feel like you’ve made it to the ocean! (check the calendar to see times when the waves are activated).
The Jacuzzi tub, guarded by a friendly Hawaiian Tiki charm, features mild waters that are easy on the skin while helping you keep warm and moisturize the skin. Enjoy a long soak to sooth the body and mind.
Take a stroll beneath the mystical wisteria tunnel and head for the outdoor pool!
Grab on to the net above and swing along like a monkey while making your way across the tipping rapids. It’s harder than it looks!!! This is a perfect spot for a little friendly competition as you try to get across without falling in!
At almost 650 meters, this lazy river is especially long. Grab hold of an inflatable donut and set off for an especially relaxing float down the pool. But watch out – you may catch a few sprinkles along the way!
Here’s a 40m-long by 30m-wide pool to enjoy! There are no waves meaning you can enjoy anything from a leisurely swim to a fun time splashing around with a beach ball! In the middle stands “Bassha House” a towering tree house with a puzzling appearance that will jet out water when you least expect it!
Grab a friend and ride a two-seater raft down the water slide for a taste of refreshing thrills.
There are sudden drops along the slide where you’ll feel like you’re flying for a second as you make your way down from this 10-meter high slide!
The arch-shaped water fountain is a beauty! As legend would have it, you and your friend will be granted a lifetime of fun and happiness if you walk under the arch without getting wet!
With all that splashing around you’re sure to build up an appetite! Thankfully, Tokyo Summerland is home to plenty of restaurants and treats at the food court. The tasty eats are sure to put a smile on your face.
This Ferris wheel sits on a hill that’s 223-meters above sea level. Hop on for a view overlooking the town and wide open nature below. For an extra special treat, try going for a ride just after sunset to see Tokyo Summerland from above as it lights up with evening illuminations.
Take a quick break at this rest spot, decorated with a soft, pink hue. From the pink sunflowers you’ll find a showering mist that’s perfect when you need to cool off! It also doubles as a great place to snap some cute photos!
